Pandra had started out for Briton just as the first snow fall was starting to happen back in Gaul. She had left a little hate and hoped she wouldn't be caught in a terrible storm or anything else like that. It would fit her mood though. She had said goodbye to Aberth and had things with her that she would keep close to her heart. She couldn't believe all the things that had happened while she had been home and the emotional rollercoaster of a sixteen year old had just gotten worse with a few simple words. Those words of course being said by a guys as the Gods too him. They could be so cruel at times. Of course she knew better then to dwell on the thought of them being cruel. They had a plan for them all and tests that would come along the way. She wasn't sure what this one was but she'd figure it out soon enough. She was on the last leg of her journey. After all she had already sent the horse back to her village.
One could not make it as far had they not gone most of the way on horse back or in a caravan of some sort. She would have liked to go all the way on horse back this time as the nights were getting ever colder and a horse to curl up next too would be nice. However she wasn't too fond of the creatures and they of her. They worked together because they knew there was good in it for both of them. They were friendly but each side knew the other did not prefer them. Life was just funny that way. She looked up and hid behind a tree as she heard noises coming from a little off in the distance. She could hear the speech of Saxons and she was not at all happy about that. She was getting closer to the wall and if they were this close that probably wasn't a good sign.
They passed her and she ran off through the woods the rest of the way until she came to a clearing where she took a breath and then continued to walk as she was sure she had lost them. She was getting closer to the wall and she smiled when she saw it come into view. It was early and the gates had not opened for morning traffic yet so she hid behind a tree just a little down the wall to rest and wait for the movement of the new day to start.
