MAIN PLOT
The year is 470 A.D, and Britain has prospered every since that fateful battle at Badon Hill. Lancelot, Dagonet, Tristan, and many others did not succumb, nor did Cynric, but lived by the grace of many healers. Many new knights and warriors have joined leagues with both sides, and one of them happens to be a woman named Marina. King Arthur & Queen Guinevere now have a four year old daughter, Helena, who just so happens to be their pride and joy. Lancelot, a womanizer at one time, has fallen for Lady Marina, also a fellow knight. Galahad & Alowyn, the fallen Saxon Princess and an ally of Arthur, have fallen for each other. Many of the other knights have settled down, or are in the midst of it.
But, Britain isn’t the only thing that has prospered; so have the Saxons. Cynric has been crowned King of the Saxons, and fathered a seven year old son named Aldarion. Cynric now questions whether Arthur’s love for his daughter is greater, than for his people. Caetrin, Cynric’s younger sister, and heir to the throne, has become greedy for power. She, along with her younger siblings Adelmar and Kendall have been plotting to over throw Cynric, and divide the land amongst themselves. Will Kendall stand by her sister’s side, or tell Cynric about the plot, or even worse: go to Arthur and betray her own people & tell him of her own people’s plan?
Only Cynric’s wife, Bethan, knows that he has been secretly rallying up allies in the North. But, the Saxon’s aren’t the only ones that will be prepared. Increasing attacks by the Saxons have caused Arthur to grow weary, and take charge. The famous Sarmatian Knights, and many others have been training civilians in the art of battle. Many civilians from neighboring kingdoms have taken refuge at Hadrian’s Wall. Only those close to Arthur and the Knights know that, they have also been rallying up allies. Alowyn, the rightful Princess to the Saxon throne, and cousin of Cynric, has stood beside Arthur. Will Cynric attack Arthur out of the blue? Will Arthur be prepared? Will Alowyn gain her rightful place as the Saxon Princess? Even better: will this be a fair fight?
Will the Saxon’s take over Britain and rule forever? Or will you help Arthur salvage Britain? This is your choice: you choose Britain’s fate?
