Abelena was many things. She was head strong and independent. She was loyal and dependable. She was witty and sarcastic. But she was not, in any way shape or form, a good loser. She hated losing more than most things; she hated the way it felt when someone had defeated her. And the worst part was that she hated losing anything, especially this little challenge with Galahad. So, she was determined to keep her cool and keep her wits about her, even though there was a heavy cloud of doubt hanging above her.
Now she had to think up a strategy. He did say he would ask "a" question...maybe she could warp that into only one question. Or maybe she should just lie...no...she wasn't exactly good at that, now was she? She could just refuse to answer, she owed Galahad no response. However, she did tell him that she would answer honestly, so she would just have to tell him the truth. Lena only hoped that he would ask several questions, and not simply "who is he?".
She held herself still as he began, wondering to herself what he could possibly ask her. Perhaps he would make the challenge interesting and ask her many questions that could leave him guessing; knowing Galahad, he would. She found herself grinning at his question, softly laughing. "You do, indeed." she said gently, her smile still gracing her face as she gazed at the curly haired knight.

Galahad watched every tiny move that Lena made after he asked her his first question. His blue eyes stared up intently as her full lips turned into a grin and then her soft laughter filled his ears. Her answer was better than Galahad could have hoped for; so he knew this mysterious man! Immediately the brunette’s lips curled upwards in a broad grin and he found himself nodding at the new piece of information. Oh how Lena’s answer made things so much easier for him to win this little challenge they had between them! He would have been in serious trouble and most certainly would have lost if she had answered no. But a yes – well a yes changed everything and put the odds squarely in the knights favour.
So he knew this man, whoever he was. Galahad had met a lot of men throughout his nineteen years upon his frozen island and he knew a lot of names and even more faces. If he was going to have a chance at guessing the name of this mysterious man he would have to try and narrow things down even further.
“So I know him….” The curly haired knight muttered to himself. Galahad bit his bottom lip as he thought; perhaps narrowing down what this man actually did with himself would help. There were a lot of jobs and responsibilities at the fort but one thing that did go in Galahad’s favour was that Lena had not been here long. She would not know men from every area in the fort so perhaps this man was someone she worked with? Someone she knew well? “Does he work in the tavern?” Galahad asked next, eyebrow raised as he looked back up at Lena.

Perhaps getting into this little challenge wasn't one of her best ideas. She could argue; yes. She could win; yes. But, there was one problem here. Lena needed to admit it. She needed to hear herself say this. She needed to hear the words come out of her own mouth; conformation of her own feelings. She needed to know that she felt like that toward Tristan, and she was only one who could do that. Say it Lena, you need to say it. Tell yourself the truth. But at the same time, Lena hated to lose.
The young woman watched the knight as he attempted to figure out her secret. She hoped that the man wouldn't figure out who she was so interested in, but she had a bad feeling that he was far too smart. Galahad might have been young, but he wasn't stupid. No, Lena knew that the lad would eventually figure it out. Damn.
Lena nodded as the knight restated her statement, as she ran a hand through her waving locks. She allowed a smile to creep to her face, as she watched the blue eyed man's brain ticking away. Her smile grew even wider as Galahad asked his second question, glad he was completely off. "No sir!" she giggled, folding her arms across her chest with triumph. "Nice try. Next question?"

He had guessed wrong. Damn it! And the look of delight that twinkled in Lena’s eyes certainly did not help the feeling of annoyance that hit Galahad in the chest. He absolutely loathed loosing but one thing that went in his favour was that just because he had asked a wrong question did not mean he had lost the challenge! He still had as many questions as he wanted to guess this mysterious man and he was most certainly going to guess, or die trying!! Well perhaps not quite die, but he would not go down without a fight that was for sure!
“Alright… so he doesn’t work in the tavern, that crosses out a few people…” Galahad stated and then hmmmed to himself as he lowered his eyes to stare down at his hands. Who did he know that Lena would be interested in? The trouble was that he had absolutely no idea the sort of man that Lena would fancy! Tall? Short? Dark? Fair skinned? Roman? Sarmatian? Commoner? King? Galahad shook his head at that thought, he doubted Lena would fancy Arthur… not that there was anything wrong with him. He was a handsome man; Guinevere obviously thought so, just that he doubted Lena was the type of woman that would fancy another woman’s man.
Sighing loudly Galahad tapped his fingers on the table as another question formed in his mind. “Is he a Roman?” The Knight asked, looking back up at the beautiful brunette. God he hoped Lena did not fancy a Roman, she had to have more taste than that!
